Our Investment Requirements for Future Portfolio Companies

Clipper Ship works with a select group of portfolio companies to provide our proven strategy of hands-on, value-added investing. Our investment criteria is:

  • Sector: Financial and business services sectors, and technology solutions for those sectors.
  • Deal Size: $3 to 10 million
  • Revenues: $2 to 20 million of revenue
  • EBITDA: Near cash flow breakeven to profitability
  • Geography: Prefer North America.
  • Transaction Types: We are agnostic about transaction type. We will make growth capital, buyouts, direct secondary, and restructuring investments. We welcome atypical transaction situations.
