George Doherty, Partner

George has spent his career providing capital and operating expertise to high potential, high growth, FinTech companies. His previous experience includes GE Capital Commercial Finance, CCP Equity Partners, and serving as CFO and COO with a fintech startup. George’s past portfolio engagements include Neovest, GlobalView Software, FNX, Infoglide Software, and David Corporation, and he currently serves on the Boards of Canopy, Exchange Solutions, PDHI, ProfitKey and Servicengine.

George holds a BS and BA from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. George is an avid basketball fan and volunteers as President of the Nutmeg Basketball Association, a Hartford County-based travel basketball league for boys and girls in grades 4 through 8.

Daniel P. Meyer, Partner

Dan has spent his career providing advice, capital, and operating expertise to high potential, high growth, Fintech companies. Prior to working in private capital, Dan was a research analyst on Wall Street with coverage of the FinTech and banking industries. His previous experience includes Robertson Stephens, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, CCP Equity Partners, and working in a consulting business development role for several small businesses. Dan’s past portfolio engagements include MMV Financial, PayCycle, Princeton eCom, Magnet Communications, and David Corporation, and he currently serves on the Boards of Canopy, Exchange Solutions, PDHI, ProfitKey and Servicengine.

Dan holds a BA degree in Economics from Clark University and an MBA from the Wallace E. Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Cheryl Heller, Venture Partner

Cheryl has built her career by leading organizations through financial, operational, and cultural transformations. Most recently, Cheryl was Managing Principal of Pillar One Consulting providing Fractional CFO support to start ups. Her clients include Hive Wealth, Granate, WaterIQ Technologies, and Tomu. Her previous experience consists of PWC, Aetna and over twenty years at Capital One in a variety of roles including CFO of the Retail Bank. Cheryl has served on The Holton Arms School Board of Trustees and the Boards of Directors of the Junior League of Washington and the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre and Academy. Cheryl has a BS from the University of Connecticut, an MST from the University of Hartford and is a CPA. Cheryl volunteers with the Montgomery County (MD) Humane Society and The Leadership Foundry.
